I agree that Trust Pilot is also a scam site. They removed my negative reviews about a questionable company..
The website positions itself as a platform for posting reviews.
Reviews that cannot be deleted.
This is not true.
My review was deleted and my account was blocked.
I left a positive review about software that I own (via subscription) and use myself.
The account had only one review, which complied with the platform's rules.
The company deleted the review and blocked the account with the following statement:
As part of our efforts to ensure that our community can trust the reviews they read on Trustpilot, we’re constantly on the lookout for unusual activity. We do this by using customized software, dedicated Content Integrity Agents, or a combination of both.
In this case, your Trustpilot account has been flagged because we believe it relates to review seller networks that buy and sell fake reviews. On that basis, we’ve suspended your account and removed your reviews from our platform.
I filed an appeal and sent documents to confirm ownership of the software.
I received the following response:
Thanks for getting back to us and apologies for our delayed response. Unfortunately, after reviewing this case on the whole, we’ve decided we won’t be unblocking your account and reinstating your review.
We hope you understand that in order to protect our site from abuse, we can’t go into further detail.

The company unconditionally trusts its software and does not allow for the possibility that it might make mistakes:

We cannot reveal exactly how our software works because that would defeat its purpose. What we can tell you is that it runs independently on our platform 24/7 and examines a wide range of behavioural parameters, such as IP addresses, for example.
You have to decide for yourself whether you are ready to trust a platform that places its users below an automated moderation system (which, as can be seen, can and does make mistakes), and a company that is not willing to admit its own errors.
Reviews and users on this platform are not equal.
